Christy Dooley was born in Palo Alto, CA, studied in San Diego, worked in San Francisco, and is surviving in Los Angeles. Christy pursued acting and directing as a theatre arts major at San Diego State. She spent two years with a Northern California theatre company where she performed in and directed many shows. In 1984, Christy moved to Los Angeles to get more involved in the entertainment industry. For two years Christy was an active member of "American Theatre Arts," a repertory company in the heart of Hollywood. She also started looking into working behind the scenes, including jobs as a Casting Coordinator, Production Assistant and working in Development. When an opening came up at CBS for a new daytime drama about to go into production, Christy jumped at the chance to get involved. She started as Casting Assistant at Bold and The Beautiful and after 9 months became Head of Casting. She has now been with the show for almost 17 years.

Movies: Larry the Cable Guy & Texas Cheerleader Story and many pilots. In theatres now: Mad Money & Passengers. His previous credits include sitcoms NBC’s My Name is Earl, ABC’s Hot Properties starring Gail O’Grady and Yes, Dear. Nick has also worked for some of the most prestigious casting offices in Los Angeles: FOX Network, Goldwasser/Meltzer; Alison Jones; and Tracy Lillienfield.
